IMPORTANT if you have a g6r r4a box, you must replace both the box and the remote as those items will NOT work with current parts.
Your receiver unit inside your gas fire will have the same label as shown and it is common to replace this part if blue / green corrosion has been found on the battery contacts where old batteries or moisture has caused damage that also extends into the concealed printed circuit board of the unit, which should not be " cleaned" as this is potentially dangerous and can cause the fire to malfunction.
